[PTab=Breeding & Birthing/Pups]
Breeding –
- Wolves mate for life with these exceptions:
a) If your mate is presumed dead.
b) If your mate has entirely forsaken you, an uncommon occurrence, though not impossible.
c) If you are separated from your mate and they are never expected to return.
d) If your character was force-bred.
According to rules a) and c) if your mate returns you have the ultimate decision on who you stay with. - Mating Ritual for Wolves:
a) Bonding Stage – Where you both get to know each other and become acquainted.
b) Courting Stage – You’ve taken a true interest in each other and want to see how it works.
c) Mating Stage – The official claiming of each other and re-entering the world as mates. - Forced-breeding is allowed on Destined. It is when a wolf skips the first two steps of the mating ritual and goes straight to the last step. When being forced-bred each pack will have its own rules for dealing with this, but in all cases when a character has been forced-bred they automatically become mated to the other, should they choose to leave they can. Because this is such a drastic case it must be discussed by both players and consent given.
- Males may fight over females and vice versa all the way up until the mating stage. Keep in mind that winning a fight doesn’t guarantee you a mate, it is only a way of showing your worth.
Birthing/Pups –
- Personal pack rules must be taken into consideration when having pups. The alphas will deal with this accordingly.
- Semi-graphic birthing is allowed, however please be sure to put {MATURE] in your thread topic so others know.
- Litters will range from 1-8 pups. Dice will be rolled in order to determine the number of pups you’ll give birth to.
- The parents may play their pups under their accounts for 3 months OOC. If they’ve yet to find players for them they will die of natural causes or be killed off. In the same manner, pups may also be still born or even lost during pregnancy if players cannot be found.
- Please read this to get a better understanding of wolf pup development.
- Females will be pregnant for 4-6 OOC weeks before giving birth.
- Once giving birth they will remain away from the others for the first 4 OOC weeks.
- Females will only go into estrus twice in an IC year, during which they can be impregnated.
- Lone pups can only be played if they are six months of age, the exception is if you’ve planned ahead for someone to take your pup in.
- Pups reach sexual maturity around 1-2 years and will be considered adults at 2 years.

[PTab=Common Knowledge]
Common Knowledge –
- There is a side account known as "Mother Nature" whom will be played by various staff members. Occasionally, from time to time, she will interfere with the daily lives of our lovely inhabitants.
- With hunting I don’t want to have to be specific and put more limits on you, so to make it easy for everyone we just ask that you be realistic with your hunts. We will trust you not to make a catch every single time, or even most of the time. The probability of catching prey will vary and season, physique, health, experience, and etc. will be taken into account.
- Rogues will inevitably have a harder time surviving alone. Following the above rule, I just expect you to be realistic with it playing rogues.
- It is expected for rogues to either join a pack eventually or start their own. We will only allow a select number of characters to be rogue their entire life.
- In fights, all factors such as gender, physique, species, age, health, and experience will be taken into consideration. Please role play accordingly.
- Upon entering unknown pack territory, whether rogue or not, you are at the mercy of the inhabiting wolves. How they deal with you is entirely up to them so intruders beware.

[PTab=Pack Regulations]
Pack Regulations –
- Each pack will have its own basic set of rules that will be unique to that pack. Those rules can be found within each pack registry.
- Upon creating a pack you have the liberty to make it however you want.
- When starting a pack you will need to role play within the area that you are intending on claiming, the territory must be unclaimed. All characters involved must be actively role playing their pack move for one month IC.
- Once the above has been done fill out the “Pack Registration” form. Only once it has been accepted will your group be viewed as an official pack on the site.
- You, the pack leader, will be required to keep up with your pack registry.
- You can use the basic “Skeleton” given for the pack ranks, or you can create your own with unique names. It doesn’t matter to me as long as the basic requirements in the Skeleton are being followed. I.E. –
a) Alpha – King/Great One/ Holy Leader (The leader of the pack)
b) Beta – Second in Command/Right-Hand/Trusted Individuals (Leaders of the pack in the alpha’s absence.)
c) Delta – Third in Command/Heir to the Throne/Trusted Individuals Second (Those who are next in line to become the alpha pair.)
And you get the idea.

[PTab=Ranks]
Ranks –
- Respect is expected to be given to higher ranking wolves.
- As in the wild, there will be an order of hierarchy in the pack. Lower ranked wolves may be often put in their place as the more dominant ones reassert their dominance. Remember it is all IC.
- Alphas must be a mated pair in any pack.
- All council ranks (alpha through gamma) may be challenged for. All of the ranks, council or working, may be earned through proved worthiness.
- You must be an adult (2 years or older) in order to challenge or lead a pack.
- Should the alpha male/female lose in a challenge it is up to the victor on what is done with the previous leader.
- Should you challenge a mated alpha pair then you will be expected to fight the both of them, with your mate or alone.
- If an alpha male/female dies, leaving behind no mate or heir, then the highest ranking wolf will be expected to step up and assume control of the pack.

[PTab=Time & Health]
Time & Health–
- Your characters will age one month every two weeks. So, they will age two years in one human year.
- We are lenient with the life span of a wild wolf in allowing them to live up to 15 years. Keep in mind that the actions of your wolf during its life will determine how soon it dies.
- Liquid time is allowed on Destined. Though, we have our limitations. You may only role play a past event and it cannot have such a huge effect that it would drastically alter your character in present time. If you created your character without a scar, it cannot magically receive a scar because of a past-time RP. Similarly, all scars may be attributed to a past event if they were already on your character upon creation.
- Following the above rule, you may only have oneliquid time thread open per character. Once it has been completed you may open another one.
- If your character has been drained of health in any way you will be required to change the status of their health and keep it updated until recovery.
a) Severe injuries will take 1-3 OOC months to heal.
b) Medium injuries will take 2 weeks-1 month to heal.
c) Minor injuries will take a few days-2 weeks to heal.
